The premise is deceptively simple. A woman joins two friends for a weekend hunting trip in the mountains. The first morning, the friends fail to return from their walk to the village. She ventures out to find them and instead walks into an invisible wall of energy. On the other side, everything is frozen: birds mid-flight, people turned to stone at their breakfast tables, a world stopped dead. She is utterly alone.
Her relationship to the wall evolves from fear to wary acceptance; it shapes her identity and forces a meditation on what it means to be human without community.
