The story is set in the fictional region of Jagdalganj, home to the isolated Degohaati tribe. Their peaceful existence is shattered when a ruthless industrialist, Reuben Bhatta (Ashish Vidyarthi), discovers uranium deposits on their land and initiates aggressive mining.
