The PS2 version of Altered Beast was released in 2002 as a part of the Sega Ages series, which featured re-releases of classic Sega games. The game was included in the Sega Ages 250 Greatest Games compilation, which was released on September 17, 2002.
Fast forward to 2006. The gaming landscape had shifted to 3D. SEGA, in a nostalgic move, commissioned a full 3D reboot for the PlayStation 2. This version, simply titled Altered Beast , is a radical reimagining. Today, we are discussing the – a digital file that preserves this unique, often misunderstood, entry in SEGA’s legacy.
