The font was first released in 1990 and has since become a popular choice among designers and typographers. As the name suggests, BC C128 Narrow is a condensed version of the original BC C128 font, making it ideal for use in situations where space is limited.

The "Narrow" variant (often filed as C128N.TTF ) is optimized for situations where label real estate is limited. Compared to "Medium" or "Wide" versions, it uses a smaller "X-dimension"—the width of the narrowest bar—allowing you to pack more characters into a single inch without sacrificing readability for modern scanners.
