Seeing your trip mapped out transforms abstract addresses into concrete logistics. It answers questions you didn't even know you had: Is the hotel close to the train station? Do I have enough time between meetings? How far is the airport from the city center? Click on the trip name from your dashboard
This is useful for adding specific landmarks, meeting points, or driving routes that aren't automatically pulled from booking confirmations. Open the TripIt app and select your trip. Tap the "+" icon at the bottom of the screen. Select Map or Directions . Click Add Plans

Check the "Address" field in the plan details. If it only says "New York," TripIt might not be able to pin a specific location. Try to include the street number and zip code.
